Specification: CID protocol

A compliant server must:

• expose a manifest that is conform to the CID schema and accessible through a single unauthenticated HTTP GET request;
• support processes and transports defined in this manifest following the normative chapter of this document.

A compliant specific client must support all the client side processes and transports of at least one manifest following the normative chapter of this document.

A compliant generic client must support all the client side processes and transports of any manifest following the normative chapter of this document.
